The comeback of Vyce

Sebi took last place without any nerves at all, on 45 points. In the seven-card hand on the way down: Sebi called 0, took 4, and Mihai was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: only Sebi slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Sebi.

Mihai finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 71 points. After the three-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Elena rounds out the podium with 87 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The place above was a single point away.

Luis led for 15 hands but finished second, 27 points behind. Luis swore 0 in the two-card hand on the way up and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Vyce finishes on 115 points, 27 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. In the second of the closing eights: Vyce called 1, took 4, and Sebi was left out in the cold. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.
