edge comes back from behind

5 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

First place: edge, with 134 points. The rest, see you in the replay. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Mihai finishes second, 7 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. 12 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Daniela completed the podium with 119 points. Daniela was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

unf0rgettable finished 4th with 109 points. After the seven-card hand on the way up, unf0rgettable was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Elena finished 5th with 89 points. In the first of the opening eights: Elena said 1, scooped 4, and unf0rgettable was left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Last place: Cristian Imparat, with 80 points. Leading by the book until the last of the opening eights... then the cards turned the page. Cristian, hard luck.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
