A tug of war, won by Cosmin

4 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Cosmin won by a whisker, with just 3 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. In the second of the opening eights: Cosmin said 3, scooped 6, and Sebi was left counting the pieces. At one stretch, 7 good hands in a row.

Pity finished second, just 3 points short of the win. 2 hands in a row: Pity broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Pity was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

Third, on the podium: Sebi, up there with eyes on the top step. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Sebi didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Last place: Monica, with 46 points. In the first of the opening eights: Monica said 2, scooped 5, and Pity and Sebi were left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Monica didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
