Ana comes back from behind

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

First place, no appeal: Ana, with 111 points. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 15 good hands in a row — at one point, Ana was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Sebi led for 8 hands but finished second, 15 points behind. Sebi said they'd take nothing in the two-card hand on the way down... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Third, on the podium: Elena, up there with eyes on the top step. In the third of the opening eights: Elena said 2, scooped 6, and Sebi was left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

The tail of the table: Mihai, with 57 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. From leader to red lantern. The little wedge tipped the big cart — and the cart was Mihai. In the third of the closing eights: Mihai called 2, took 5, and Sebi was left out in the cold.
