The comeback of Luis

A game of broken contracts — 39 of them around the table, and scores from 98 all the way down to 51.

Vyce took last place without any nerves at all, on 51 points. 3 hands in a row: Vyce broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Monica rounds out the podium with 66 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Monica was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Coca took second with 74 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Coca was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

Luis finishes on 98 points, 24 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. In the third of the opening eights: Luis called 0, took 3, and Vyce was left out in the cold. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
