Cristian wins the evening

A game of broken contracts — 53 of them around the table, and scores from 105 all the way down to 76.

Last place: PaulP, with 76 points. 13 broken contracts, collected like stamps.

In 4th place, unf0rgettable, on 83 points. In the first of the closing eights: unf0rgettable called 0, took 3, and PaulP was left out in the cold. After the two-card hand on the way up, unf0rgettable was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, and on the podium: Raluca, with 86 points. 3 behind Alice, 3 ahead of unf0rgettable — right in the thick of it.

Alice finishes second, 16 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Alice was even in front after the three-card hand on the way down.

First place and peace of mind: Cristian Imparat, with 105 points. In the seven-card hand on the way up, Cristian bid 3 and took 7 — and Alice and unf0rgettable went down with them.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
