The comeback of edge

8 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Last, but with style: Ana, with 77 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Started like a champion — top of the table after the last of the opening eights — and finished like a tragedy. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Ana didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Third, and on the podium: Mihai, with 90 points. Mihai was ahead of edge right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Mihai said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Ioana led for 14 hands but finished second, 1 point behind. In the first of the opening eights: Ioana said 4, made 7, and the evening was ruined for Mihai. Ioana was ahead of edge right up to the last hand.

edge won with 93 points, by a whisker: just 1 point ahead. edge only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
