PaulP comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 40 slips at the table and scores from 98 down to 62.

First place and peace of mind: PaulP, with 98 points. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. And that despite a slip in the very last hand. In the last of the opening eights, 2 chairs flew at PaulP within seconds 🪑 — the table had opinions.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Luis, with 85 points. Luis was even in front after the two-card hand on the way down. In the second of the closing eights the table couldn't make up its mind about Luis: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.

Third, and on the podium: Alina, with 70 points. Alina got past Daniel S at the very last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Alina said and... hoped. It didn't hold. The last of the middle eights: 2 chairs thrown at Alina in seconds 🪑 — the table spoke its mind, furnished and all.

Daniel S closed the table from the back, on 62 points — there is always a next game. Daniel was ahead of Alina right up to the last hand. After the two-card hand on the way up, Daniel was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans. In the second of the middle eights, 2 chairs flew at Daniel within seconds 🪑 — the table had opinions.

Well played everyone — and especially PaulP!
