The comeback of Ana

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Last, but with style: Mihai, with 49 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. Leading by the book until the last of the opening eights... then the cards turned the page. Mihai, hard luck. In the first of the middle eights: Mihai said 2, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Elena.

Elena rounds out the podium with 55 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The last hand decided it: Elena went past Mihai right on the line. 2 hands in a row: Elena broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Lucky took the runner-up spot with 94 points. Lucky was even in front after the three-card hand on the way down.

Ana crossed the finish line first, on 102 points. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
