The comeback of Mihai

The lead passed from hand to hand, 8 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Last place, with dignity: Ana, with 71 points. Somebody had to do it. Leading by the book until the six-card hand on the way down... then the cards turned the page. Ana, hard luck. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Ana said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Third, and on the podium: Kiki, with 83 points. Level on points with Elena, and behind only on the tie-break. Kiki was even in front after the first of the closing eights.

Elena led for 15 hands but finished second, 2 points behind. 2 hands in a row: Elena broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

2 points. That's all. Mihai won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
