The comeback of Mihai

9 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

GIBO closes out the table, with 59 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. 16 broken contracts, collected like stamps. In the four-card hand on the way down, 3 chairs flew at GIBO within seconds 🪑 — the table had opinions.

Adrian Gh finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 66 points. Adrian said they'd take nothing in the first of the middle eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Neither at the front nor at the back: CCC in 4th, with 97 points. The comfort zone. CCC was even in front after the last of the opening eights. Before the last eights, only 1 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Roua rounds out the podium with 106 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 2 hands in a row: Roua broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs. Roua was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

Catalin finished second, just 1 point short of the win. In the fourth of the closing eights: Catalin said 0, made 4, and the evening was ruined for CCC and Roua. The place above was a single point away. Catalin couldn't bear to look 3 times 🙈 — some hands are better not watched.

Mihai won with 124 points, by a whisker: just 1 point ahead. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.
