Daniel comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 38 slips at the table and scores from 120 down to 40.

Daniel S took the game with 120 points and a 28-point cushion — never really in doubt. 7 good hands in a row — at one point, Daniel was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. In the first of the closing eights, 4 chairs flew at Daniel within seconds 🪑 — the table had opinions.

Cristian Imparat led for 9 hands but finished second, 28 points behind. Cristian said they'd take nothing in the six-card hand on the way down... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Third, on the podium: Monica, up there with eyes on the top step. Monica said they'd take nothing in the three-card hand on the way up... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Luis took last place without any nerves at all, on 40 points. 14 broken contracts, collected like stamps. In the six-card hand on the way up the table couldn't make up its mind about Luis: 1 chair and 1 kiss flew in within seconds 🪑💋.

Well played everyone — and especially Daniel S!
