crista comes back from behind

6 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

crista won by a whisker, with just 2 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. crista only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

PaulP led for 12 hands but finished second, 2 points behind. In the last of the opening eights, PaulP bid 0 and took 5 — and crista went down with it. PaulP was ahead of crista right up to the last hand.

Daniel S completed the podium with 69 points. In the second of the closing eights, Daniel bid 1 and took 4 — and crista went down with it.

Last place, with dignity: Vyce, with 66 points. Somebody had to do it. Top of the table after the last of the opening eights, then straight to the bottom. The plan at home didn't match the one at the table. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Vyce didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
