The comeback of Nico

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.

PaulP took last place without any nerves at all, on 63 points. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, PaulP said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Denisa finished 5th with 110 points. In the third of the closing eights: Denisa said 0, made 4, and the evening was ruined for Ioana and PaulP.

Ioana finished 4th with 121 points. Ioana was ahead of Kiki right up to the last hand. After the first of the closing eights, Ioana was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, and on the podium: Kiki, with 125 points. Kiki got past Ioana at the very last hand. Kiki cried laughing 3 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.

Radu finished second, just 1 point short of the win. The place above was a single point away. Radu was even in front after the two-card hand on the way up.

1 point. That's all. Nico won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. Nico only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
