The comeback of Elena

A game of broken contracts — 35 of them around the table, and scores from 98 all the way down to 65.

Mihai took last place without any nerves at all, on 65 points. In the third of the opening eights: Mihai said 2, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Elena. 3 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Mihai didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

MrXciting rounds out the podium with 86 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the third of the middle eights, MrXciting bid 1 and took 4 — and Elena went down with it. 2 hands in a row: MrXciting broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Ana led for 21 hands but finished second, 5 points behind. Ana was ahead of Elena right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Ana said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Elena won the game with 98 points. Elena only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
