The comeback of Radu

6 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Elena closes out the table, with 51 points. "Last one buys the coffee" — as they say at the table. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena.

Raluca finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 64 points. Raluca said they'd take nothing in the six-card hand on the way down... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Third, on the podium: Ana, up there with eyes on the top step. Ana was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Mihai, with 112 points. In the last of the middle eights: Mihai said 3, scooped 6, and Ana was left counting the pieces. Mihai was even in front after the six-card hand on the way down.

First place: Radu, with 121 points. The rest, see you in the replay. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 18 good hands in a row.
