Luis comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 4 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Luis crossed the finish line first, on 109 points. In the third of the opening eights: Luis said 2, scooped 5, and Elena was left counting the pieces. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. Luis cried laughing 9 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.

Mihai took the runner-up spot with 105 points. 2 hands in a row: only Mihai slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Mihai. Mihai was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Third, and on the podium: 10plus, with 92 points. 10plus said they'd take nothing in the three-card hand on the way up... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Last, but with style: Elena, with 80 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. 3 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold. After the two-card hand on the way up, Elena was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
