Alice wins it late

4 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

Cretu took last place without any nerves at all, on 93 points. 2 hands in a row: Cretu broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Luis in 5th, with 110 points. The comfort zone. In the first of the opening eights: Luis called 0, took 3, and Sebi was left out in the cold.

Matei finished 4th with 114 points. After the first of the closing eights, Matei was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Sebi rounds out the podium with 124 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Sebi was ahead of Mara right up to the last hand. Sebi was even in front after the six-card hand on the way up.

Mara finished second, just 2 points short of the win. The last hand decided it: Mara went past Sebi right on the line.

Alice won by a whisker, with just 2 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. Alice only went in front at the very last hand. At one stretch, 9 good hands in a row.
