The lead kept changing — Luis came out on top

The lead passed from hand to hand, 5 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Last place, with dignity: Mihai, with 77 points. Somebody had to do it. In the second of the opening eights: Mihai said 2, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Elena. After the two-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Elena rounds out the podium with 79 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. 2 hands in a row: Elena broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Ana led for 11 hands but finished second, 9 points behind. Ana was ahead of Luis right up to the last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Ana said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

First place and peace of mind: Luis, with 100 points. Luis only went in front at the very last hand.
