Ilinca takes the game with 150 points and goes home happy. In front from the fifth of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 2 hands in a row: only Ilinca slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Ilinca.

Mihai took the runner-up spot with 131 points. 11 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Pity rounds out the podium with 125 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Pity swore 0 in the fifth of the opening eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour. Pity couldn't bear to look 5 times 🙈 — some cards are not meant to be seen.

Mara finished 4th with 113 points. Mara got past Elena at the very last hand. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Mara said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Elena finished 5th with 113 points. Level on points with Mara, and behind only on the tie-break. Elena was ahead of Mara right up to the last hand.

Last, but with style: Luis, with 106 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. In the second of the opening eights: Luis said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Mara.
