Mihai comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 42 slips at the table and scores from 84 down to 39.

First place, no appeal: Mihai, with 84 points. Mihai only went in front at the very last hand. In the first of the closing eights, Mihai bid 3 and took 6 — and Elena went down with it.

Runner-up sounds good — gold sounded better. Ionela, with 77 points. Ionela was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand. Ionela was even in front after the first of the closing eights.

Ana rounds out the podium with 73 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Ana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 39 points. 14 broken contracts, collected like stamps.

Well played everyone — and especially Mihai!
