Mihai wins it late

A game of broken contracts — 44 of them around the table, and scores from 82 all the way down to 44.

Ionela took last place without any nerves at all, on 44 points. In the last of the opening eights: Ionela said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Luis.

Luis rounds out the podium with 61 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. The third of the middle eights: Luis bid 6, made fewer, and counted the regrets.

Laura led for 20 hands but finished second, 14 points behind.

Mihai gathered 82 points and the hearts of the crowd. Bravo! 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Mihai didn't — but insisted, with dignity. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
