Elena wins the evening

A game of broken contracts — 38 of them around the table, and scores from 96 all the way down to 66.

Last, but with style: Gigel, with 66 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Gigel didn't — but insisted, with dignity. After the two-card hand on the way up, Gigel was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Emi rounds out the podium with 74 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. In the third of the opening eights, Emi bid 1 and took 4 — and Gigel went down with it. 2 hands in a row: Emi broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Second place went to Mihai, with 78 points. Mihai was even in front after the four-card hand on the way up.

First place, no appeal: Elena, with 96 points. 6 good hands in a row — at one point, Elena was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
