Cretu, from start to finish

The cards were dealt, and so were the nerves. Here is the story.

Cretu comes out on top of everyone, with 107 points. The cards were kind. In front from the first of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. At one stretch, 9 good hands in a row.

Second place for Denisa, with 94 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. The last hand decided it: Denisa went past Daniel S right on the line. 2 hands in a row: only Denisa slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Denisa.

Daniel S completed the podium with 93 points. Daniel was ahead of Denisa right up to the last hand.

Mihai took last place without any nerves at all, on 58 points. In the third of the closing eights: Mihai called 1, took 4, and Cretu was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: Mihai broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
