Bot never gave up the lead

Another evening at the green baize — a bit of everything, just like home.

Bot took last place without any nerves at all, on 63 points. In the second of the middle eights, Bot bid 1 and took 5 — and Ioana went down with it.

Ioana finished 5th with 95 points. Ioana was ahead of Daniela right up to the last hand. After the two-card hand on the way up, Ioana was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Daniela finished 4th with 98 points. Daniela got past Ioana at the very last hand. After the six-card hand on the way up, Daniela was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Vyce completed the podium with 101 points. Vyce left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Sebi finished second, just 3 points short of the win. Sebi swore 0 in the three-card hand on the way down and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Bot won by a whisker, with just 3 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. In the last of the closing eights, Bot bid 3 and took 7 — and Bot and Ioana went down with them. In front from the fourth of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
