The comeback of Cristian

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Last place: Alice, with 115 points. Top of the table after the last of the opening eights, then straight to the bottom. The plan at home didn't match the one at the table.

Kiki finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 125 points. The place above was a single point away. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Kiki said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Neither at the front nor at the back: unf0rgettable in 4th, with 126 points. The comfort zone. After the two-card hand on the way up, unf0rgettable was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, and on the podium: PaulP, with 132 points. In the last of the closing eights: PaulP said 2, scooped 6, and Alice and unf0rgettable were left counting the pieces. PaulP was ahead of Cristian Imparat right up to the last hand.

Pity led for 23 hands but finished second, 3 points behind. Pity got past PaulP at the very last hand. In the third of the opening eights: Pity said 0, scooped 3, and Cristian Imparat was left counting the pieces. Pity couldn't bear to look 3 times 🙈 — some hands are better not watched.

Cristian Imparat won with 139 points, by a whisker: just 3 points ahead. Cristian only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Well played everyone — and especially Cristian Imparat!
