Kiki takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 40 slips at the table and scores from 111 down to 53.

Kiki finishes on 111 points, 37 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. 9 good hands in a row — at one point, Kiki was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Alina took second with 74 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. In the third of the closing eights: Alina said 2, scooped 5, and Daniel S was left counting the pieces. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Alina didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Daniel S completed the podium with 69 points. Daniel swore 0 in the first of the closing eights and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

BigBarbu24 took last place without any nerves at all, on 53 points. In the last of the opening eights: BigBarbu24 called 2, took 5, and Daniel S was left out in the cold. After the three-card hand on the way up, BigBarbu24 was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.
