The comeback of Luis

The lead changed hands 4 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Last place, with dignity: Mihai, with 69 points. Somebody had to do it. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Mihai said and... hoped. It didn't hold. Before the last eights, only 1 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Third, on the podium: Ana, up there with eyes on the top step. Ana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Ionela led for 11 hands but finished second, 10 points behind. At one stretch, 8 good hands in a row.

Luis won the game with 104 points. In the seven-card hand on the way down: Luis called 1, took 4, and Ana was left out in the cold.
