The comeback of Luis

A game of broken contracts — 38 of them around the table, and scores from 92 all the way down to 45.

unf0rgettable took last place without any nerves at all, on 45 points. unf0rgettable had the table at their feet after the last of the opening eights. Whist was there to remind them nothing lasts forever. In the third of the opening eights: unf0rgettable called 2, took 5, and Mihai was left out in the cold.

Third, and on the podium: Mihai, with 65 points. In the last of the opening eights: Mihai said 2, scooped 5, and Luis was left counting the pieces.

Ana finishes second, 9 points short of gold. Silver shines, but not quite the same. Ana was even in front after the second of the middle eights.

First place, no appeal: Luis, with 92 points. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
