The comeback of TaNE

4 players · 2 November 2026

5 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

CATA took last place without any nerves at all, on 63 points. The table was CATA's after the last of the opening eights; the second half had other ideas. 3 hands in a row: only CATA slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but CATA.

Third, and on the podium: Teo, with 79 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Teo said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Edy led for 13 hands but finished second, 1 point behind. Edy was ahead of TaNE right up to the last hand.

TaNE won by a whisker, with just 1 point — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. TaNE only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
