The comeback of Elena

The lead changed hands 10 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Daniela took last place without any nerves at all, on 59 points. 3 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Daniela didn't — but insisted, with dignity. After the two-card hand on the way up, Daniela was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, and on the podium: Mihai, with 85 points. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Ana finished second, just 2 points short of the win. Ana was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Elena won with 102 points, by a whisker: just 2 points ahead. Elena only went in front at the very last hand. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Well played everyone — and especially Elena!
