Emi comes back from behind

The lead passed from hand to hand, 6 times over — it was anyone's guess.

First place: Emi, with 125 points. In the third of the opening eights: Emi said 5, made 8, and the evening was ruined for Elena and Mihai. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Second place for Mihai, with 110 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. Mihai was even in front after the third of the middle eights. 12 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Third, on the podium: Nico, up there with eyes on the top step. In the third of the closing eights: Nico said 2, scooped 5, and Mihai was left counting the pieces. Nico was even in front after the five-card hand on the way down.

In 4th place, Daniela, on 85 points. 2 hands in a row: Daniela broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Last place, with dignity: Elena, with 82 points. Somebody had to do it. Top of the table after the last of the opening eights, then straight to the bottom. The plan at home didn't match the one at the table. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
