Mihai comes back from behind

The cards were dealt, and so were the nerves. Here is the story.

Mihai won the game with 124 points.

Second place went to Emi, with 113 points. Emi was even in front after the three-card hand on the way up. At one stretch, 12 good hands in a row.

Kiki rounds out the podium with 113 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Level on points with Emi, and behind only on the tie-break. Kiki was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

In 4th place, Radu, on 89 points. In the third of the opening eights, Radu bid 0 and took 3 — and Elena went down with it. 2 hands in a row: only Radu slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Radu.

Last place, with dignity: Elena, with 79 points. Somebody had to do it. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity.
