Luis comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 37 slips at the table and scores from 93 down to 72.

First place: Luis, with 93 points. The rest, see you in the replay. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Ionela took the runner-up spot with 88 points. 2 hands in a row: only Ionela slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Ionela. Ionela spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Mihai rounds out the podium with 76 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Mihai left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

The tail of the table: Ana, with 72 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. Ana had the table at their feet after the last of the opening eights. Whist was there to remind them nothing lasts forever. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, Ana was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
