unf0rgettable takes the table

The cards went out, and so did the egos. Here is what came of it.

unf0rgettable wins by 21 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Mihai took second with 113 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. In the last of the opening eights, Mihai bid 1 and took 4 — and Radu went down with it. 11 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Third, and on the podium: Elena, with 106 points. One card, a single card, and Elena still got it wrong on the one-card hand. It happens even in the best houses.

In 4th place, Daniela, on 98 points. After the second of the closing eights, Daniela was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Radu took last place without any nerves at all, on 52 points. In the fourth of the opening eights: Radu called 2, took 5, and Mihai was left out in the cold. 3 hands in a row: Radu broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
