The comeback of Vlad

Elena closed the table from the back, on 98 points — there is always a next game. 11 broken contracts, collected like stamps.

Ana finished 5th with 101 points. Ana said they'd take nothing in the two-card hand on the way up... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Ioana finished 4th with 119 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Ioana was leading the table — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, on the podium: Radu, up there with eyes on the top step. Radu was ahead of Mihai right up to the last hand. Radu was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Mihai took the runner-up spot with 126 points. Mihai got past Radu at the very last hand. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Mihai didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

First place and peace of mind: Vlad, with 144 points. In the last of the middle eights, Vlad bid 0 and took 3 — and Ana went down with it. 16 good hands in a row — at one point, Vlad was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.
