Ionela takes the table

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 34 slips at the table and scores from 101 down to 60.

3 points. That's all. Ionela won in the blink of an eye — so don't blink. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.

Mihai finished second, just 3 points short of the win. In the second of the opening eights: Mihai called 2, took 5, and Ionela was left out in the cold. Mihai spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Third, and on the podium: Luis, with 76 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Luis said and... hoped. It didn't hold. Luis was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Elena took last place without any nerves at all, on 60 points. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity. Before the last eights, only 8 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.
