Mihai comes back from behind

4 changes of leader: this one was a tug of war.

First place, no appeal: Mihai, with 97 points. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 8 good hands in a row — at one point, Mihai was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Ana took the runner-up spot with 93 points. In the first of the middle eights, Ana bid 2 and took 6 — and Kiki went down with it. Ana was even in front after the five-card hand on the way down.

Third, on the podium: Elena, up there with eyes on the top step. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity. Elena was even in front after the seven-card hand on the way down.

The tail of the table: Kiki, with 73 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. From leader to red lantern. The little wedge tipped the big cart — and the cart was Kiki.
