Radu finishes on 143 points, 22 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems.

Ana took second with 121 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. Ana was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Mihai completed the podium with 118 points. In the last of the middle eights, Mihai bid 2 and took 5 — and Ana and Radu went down with them.

Elena finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 118 points. Level on points with Mihai, and behind only on the tie-break. After the four-card hand on the way up, Elena was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Emi finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 97 points. Emi said they'd take nothing in the first of the opening eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Ioana took last place without any nerves at all, on 82 points. 2 hands in a row: Ioana broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.
