Denisa never gave up the lead

One evening, 4 players, a single crown. The rest — stories to tell over coffee.

Mihai took last place without any nerves at all, on 65 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Mihai said and... hoped. It didn't hold. Before the last eights, only 10 points off the podium — the pace just didn't hold.

Elena completed the podium with 85 points. 2 hands in a row: only Elena slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Elena.

Vyce took second with 96 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. 2 hands in a row: Vyce broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Denisa wins by 20 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. In front from the second of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Denisa said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Well played everyone — and especially Denisa!
