Vyce comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 36 slips at the table and scores from 98 down to 66.
Vyce gathered 98 points and the hearts of the crowd. Bravo! In the second of the opening eights: Vyce said 2, scooped 6, and Luis was left counting the pieces. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.
Ionela took the runner-up spot with 86 points. Ionela swore 0 in the four-card hand on the way down and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.
Third, and on the podium: Luis, with 79 points. 7 behind Ionela, 13 ahead of Mihai — right in the thick of it.
The tail of the table: Mihai, with 66 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. From leader to red lantern. The little wedge tipped the big cart — and the cart was Mihai. In the third of the middle eights: Mihai called 0, took 3, and Luis was left out in the cold.
