The comeback of unf0rgettable

The cards are back in the box. Here is what happened at the table.

Last place: Mihai, with 73 points. In the second of the middle eights: Mihai said 4, made 7, and the evening was ruined for Elena. 3 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Mihai didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Third, and on the podium: Ana, with 74 points. 4 hands in a row: the table said and did, Ana said and... hoped. It didn't hold. Ana was even in front after the last of the opening eights.

Elena took second with 88 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. In the second of the opening eights, Elena bid 0 and took 3 — and unf0rgettable went down with it.

unf0rgettable finishes on 110 points, 22 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. 14 good hands in a row — at one point, unf0rgettable was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Well played everyone — and especially unf0rgettable!
