Luis comes back from behind

An evening with a bit of everything, except contracts kept: 36 slips at the table and scores from 99 down to 77.

Luis crossed the finish line first, on 99 points. It didn't start well — only 4th after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there. At one stretch, 12 good hands in a row.

Coca led for 12 hands but finished second, 12 points behind. In the last of the closing eights: Coca called 2, took 5, and Luis was left out in the cold. 2 hands in a row: Coca broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Ana rounds out the podium with 81 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Ana swore 0 in the three-card hand on the way down and took a trick — whist has a sense of humour.

Last place: unf0rgettable, with 77 points. Top of the table after the last of the opening eights, then straight to the bottom. The plan at home didn't match the one at the table. In the seven-card hand on the way down: unf0rgettable said 3, made 6, and the evening was ruined for Ana and Luis.
