A tug of war, won by Denisa

The lead passed from hand to hand, 4 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Denisa finishes on 151 points, 36 above the next — the rest were playing a different game, it seems. 15 good hands in a row — at one point, Denisa was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards. In the seven-card hand on the way down, Denisa was showered with 2 kisses in a matter of seconds 💋.

Claudiu took second with 115 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. In the fifth of the middle eights: Claudiu said 2, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Cretu. The seven-card hand on the way down: 2 chairs thrown at Claudiu in seconds 🪑 — the table spoke its mind, furnished and all.

Third, and on the podium: Roua, with 115 points. Level on points with Claudiu, and behind only on the tie-break. Roua was even in front after the last of the opening eights. The seven-card hand on the way down: 2 chairs thrown at Roua in seconds 🪑 — the table spoke its mind, furnished and all.

unf0rgettable finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 110 points. After the five-card hand on the way up, unf0rgettable was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Cretu finished 5th with 99 points. In the first of the opening eights: Cretu said 1, scooped 5, and unf0rgettable was left counting the pieces. The seven-card hand on the way down: 2 kisses rained down on Cretu 💋 — the darling of the table.

Adrian Gh took last place without any nerves at all, on 64 points. 15 broken contracts, collected like stamps.

Well played everyone. Same table next time?
