The comeback of edge

One evening, 4 players, a single crown. The rest — stories to tell over coffee.

Mihai took last place without any nerves at all, on 66 points. 4 hands in a row: the table said and did, Mihai said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Elena completed the podium with 93 points. Elena was ahead of Daniel S right up to the last hand.

Second place for Daniel S, with 100 points. So close to the top they can still taste it — bittersweet. Daniel got past Elena at the very last hand.

First place, no appeal: edge, with 107 points. In the first of the middle eights, edge bid 3 and took 6 — and Daniel S and Elena went down with them. edge was even last after the seven-card hand on the way down, which makes the win all the sweeter.

Congratulations to all — see you at the next table!
