Ana comes back from behind

The lead changed hands 7 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Champion of the evening: Ana, with 95 points. The rest, see you in the replay. Ana was even last after the six-card hand on the way down, which makes the win all the sweeter.

Luis took the runner-up spot with 84 points. Luis spent a long time on the red lantern and came out clean — determined not to buy the round.

Mihai completed the podium with 84 points. Level on points with Luis, and behind only on the tie-break. Mihai was even in front after the last of the middle eights.

The tail of the table: Ionela, with 73 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. Ionela had the table at their feet after the last of the opening eights. Whist was there to remind them nothing lasts forever. 3 hands in a row: Ionela broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Well played everyone — and especially Ana!
