A tug of war, won by Olga

The lead passed from hand to hand, 4 times over — it was anyone's guess.

Olga wins by 30 clear. That's not whist any more, it's a parade with a brass band. Olga cried laughing 3 times 😂 — the cheapest entertainment at the table.

Pity took second with 117 points — a fine evening, but the gods of whist were busy elsewhere. The last hand decided it: Pity went past Sebi right on the line. In the second of the opening eights, Pity bid 3 and took 6 — and Alice went down with it.

Third, and on the podium: Sebi, with 116 points. Sebi was ahead of Pity right up to the last hand.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Coca in 4th, with 112 points. The comfort zone. The last hand decided it: Coca went past Alice right on the line.

Last, but with style: Cosmin, with 96 points. At least there were cards worth talking about. In the first of the opening eights: Cosmin said 2, made 5, and the evening was ruined for Olga and Sebi. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Cosmin said and... hoped. It didn't hold.
