Laura never gave up the lead

Another evening at the green baize — a bit of everything, just like home.

Kiki took last place without any nerves at all, on 66 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Kiki said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

Raluca finished 5th with 94 points. In the last of the middle eights: Raluca said 0, made 3, and the evening was ruined for Gigel. 2 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Raluca didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Gigel finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 4th, with 116 points. After the two-card hand on the way up, Gigel was 3rd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Third, and on the podium: Adri, with 124 points. Adri said they'd take nothing in the second of the closing eights... and took some. Whist listens, then does the opposite.

Mara finished second, just 3 points short of the win. In the second of the closing eights, Mara bid 0 and took 3 — and Kiki went down with it.

Laura won by a whisker, with just 3 points — at whist even one point is as good as a mile. In front from the fourth of the opening eights to the end, and nobody got close enough to worry about. And that despite a slip in the very last hand.
