CCC comes back from behind

The cards went out, and so did the egos. Here is what came of it.

CCC gathered 135 points and the hearts of the crowd. Bravo! It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Catalin led for 20 hands but finished second, 11 points behind. In the first of the middle eights: Catalin called 1, took 6, and Radu was left out in the cold. 11 good hands in a row — at one point, Catalin was playing as if they could see everyone else's cards.

Ana rounds out the podium with 119 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Ana left the robot at the wheel most of the evening and still came out respectable. Teamwork with the server.

Neither at the front nor at the back: Mihai in 4th, with 111 points. The comfort zone. After the two-card hand on the way up, Mihai was 2nd and dreaming of the podium — but the last hands had other plans.

Elena finishes right in the middle — neither hot nor cold — 5th, with 103 points. 2 hands in a row: the table said and did, Elena said and... hoped. It didn't hold.

The tail of the table: Radu, with 96 points. Somebody has to hold the candle. In the fourth of the closing eights: Radu called 0, took 3, and Ana was left out in the cold.

Well played everyone — and especially CCC!
