Mihai comes back from behind

The lead changed hands 5 times — nobody got comfortable at the top.

Mihai takes the game with 106 points and goes home happy. In the last of the closing eights: Mihai called 2, took 5, and Elena was left out in the cold. It didn't start well — only 3rd after the opening eights — but it clearly didn't end there.

Elena led for 10 hands but finished second, 4 points behind. 3 hands in a row: the whole table kept its word, only Elena didn't — but insisted, with dignity.

Kiki rounds out the podium with 102 points. Bronze still counts as a medal. Level on points with Elena, and behind only on the tie-break. 2 hands in a row: Kiki broke the contract each time while everyone else made theirs.

Ana took last place without any nerves at all, on 53 points. 3 hands in a row: only Ana slipped, while the rest said it and did it. The cards were kind to everyone but Ana.
